Jocul Legend of the Guardians se bazeaza pe filmul de animatie 3D regizat de Zack Snyder, film care la randul lui se bazeaza pe seria de carti fantasy pentru copii Guardians of Ga'Hoole.
Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole ne prezinta o poveste de tipul bine versus rau in care jucatorii vor prelua rolul unei bufnite si vor duce un razboi fantastic pentru a proteja lumea bufnitelor de o amenintare inimaginabila.
