Football Manager 2011 a fost anuntat de SEGA si Sports Interactive, jocul urmand sa fie disponibil in decembrie 2010, pentru PC, MAC si PSP. Spre deosebire de editiile anterioare, FM2011 va beneficia de imbunatatiri semnificative, precum negocierea contractelor in real-time, un nou sistem de antrenamente si multe imbunatatiri ale motorului grafic.
Din punct de vedere al graficii, FM2011 va avea peste 100 de noi animatii, mai multe emotii si manifestari ale jucatorilor, noi stadioane si o imbunatatire din punct de vedere al iluminarii.
